Offering suggestions
You should take a vacation and relax.
Talking to your boss would probably be a good idea.
I think you should do whatever you’re most comfortable with.
If you’re worried about safety in your neighborhood, why not install a home security system?
If the two of you are arguing all the time, maybe you’re not meant to be together.
Since you’ve never been to Europe before, I’d recommend going to Italy or France first.
It might be a good idea to start looking a new job before you resign.

Dear Joel,
I was surprised to hear that you’ve been having so many disputes with your landlord recently. If he’s making unreasonable demands, you may wish to contact your lawyer. Apart from that, I’d also suggest looking for a new apartment well in advance of the lease expiring. It’s always best to be prepared for contingencies.
